Vergona Electric was established as a family owned electricity company. The name was later changed to Vergona/Bowersox (VB) Electric after forming a partnership. VB Engineering was founded as a national solar engineering company. We established ourselves on the ground floor of solar power innovation and set the foundation that would allow us to best serve the businesses and residents of Florida. VB Solar was formed to focus strictly on residential and commercial solar projects in Florida. This began our transformation into a company that’s committed to the future of solar power technology. VB Solar changed its name to Urban Solar Group. This name change reflected our dedication to supplying homeowners and businesses with sensible solar solutions. Our passion for solar continued to grow along with our company. Urban Solar Group purchased the assets of Vergona/Bowersox Electric and VB Engineering to form one company that specializes in residential & commercial solar installation & design and electrical contracting. Currently Urban Solar holds a state certified solar contractor license and state certified electrical contractor license. Our dedication to making worldwide solar power a reality has generated partnerships and friendships with some of the energy sector’s biggest innovators.
