Founded in 2003 by brother-sister team Daniel and Laura Veitia, Urban Resource is a rapidly growing Real Estate and Property Management company located in North Beach, the northern neighborhood of Miami Beach. In 2007, Daniel received his CAM license and started the Property Management division with just a handful of buildings, and has grown it to manage over 120 buildings. His past experience as a Logistics Specialist for Maersk-Sealand, provides him with an exceptional skill in creating efficient and effective management services for our clients. Laura grew up in Miami, and is a graduate of Florida State University. She started her Real Estate career in South Beach in 1995 following a passion she shares with her father, who showed her from a young age the benefits of Real Estate ownership. When she started her career, she moved to the Art Deco District and understood the value of preservation, and the desire for modern living, witnessing the birth of the SoFi district. Laura’s Real Estate career flourished for 13 years at a national firm, who awarded her annually and recognized her in the top 1% of Realtors nationwide. She consistently closed the highest number of transactions for 8 consecutive years until she left. Convincing Daniel to consider a career in Real Estate in 2002, she soon would join him under Urban Resource in 2012. Laura enjoys utilizing her knowledge and expertise to help her clients and our Realtor-Associates on a daily basis. Laura currently serves on the Miami Beach LGBT Business Enhancement Committee, and is a graduate of the Miami Beach Leadership Academy and Citizens Police Academy. In the past, she has served on the MB Commission for Women, the Lincoln West and the Sunset Harbour Residents Association, and was a founding member of Miami Beach Gay Pride. She’s a member of both the Miami Beach Chamber and the Miami Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Oversees all accounting-related activity within the company including accounts payables and receivables from sales, leasing, apartment buildings, and condominiums. Jessica is fluent in English and Spanish. Born in Miami, Jessica is a graduate of Florida International University, and currently pursuing her Masters in Accounting at Nova Southeastern University. She is licensed as a Community Association Manager (CAM), and a Notary Public. She manages all aspects of the accounting department for our Real Estate transactions, Multi-family buildings, and the Condominium Associations we manage. Our services include rent collection, vendor payments, escrow account management, along with monthly and annual financial statements. Our clients rely heavily on our accounting department and find it to be one of the strongest benefits of our company. Born in Venezuela, Jose was raised in Miami, graduated from Miami-Dade College, and manages the Urban Resource repair team, as well as our independently contracted turn-over teams. If repairs come up in the units we manage, Jose ensures the repair is properly conducted in a timely manner. As a unit becomes vacant, he coordinates requested upgrades for the client, and insures the unit is ready for occupancy within the necessary timeline. He manages the multitude of vendor accounts utilized by Urban Resource. Lisa’s background in production for local film industry has provided her with versatile skillset that’s most helpful for our clients. Her approach to real estate is focused around her client and their needs. She’s able to take care of them, from conceptualizing the idea to realizing the dream of homeownership. Lisa's high level of loyalty and integrity resonates with buyers and sellers as she approaches each real estate transaction with enthusiasm and intellect.
