If I said I was self-taught, I would be lying. There are a lot of people who have influenced and mentored me over the years and every one of them has helped make me what I am today as a chef.   Thanks to all of you for your inspiration and guidance. Help support your local farmers and economy. The thought of it might not kill you, but the products can. Because you all kept asking me to. Really. I have spent years of helping literally thousands of people with nutrition and years of feeding everyone. And each person I have helped or fed has told me I needed to write a book – either one on nutrition or a cookbook filled with healthy recipes. I couldn’t decide which one to write and it finally occurred to me that the two are not independent of one another. Out of this rather obvious realization was born the idea for “Delish and Nutrish”. If I said I was self-taught, I would be lying.
