Mr. Krauthamer founded Universal Brass turning Company Inc. in 1935 on Elizabeth St. in Manhattan, New York. In 1945 Mr. Krauthamer moved the company to the Bronx, where it remain for 56 years supplying quality parts, customer’s satisfaction and Excellence until he retired in 1965. Start working for his father as a young man, attending grade school. In 1965 he took over the company and expanded it from a Single Spindle machine shop to a multi-spindle machine shop using a wide range of materials. In 1975 Mr. Krauthamer founded Fabrication and Material Co. In 2001 Mr. Krauthamer relocated Universal Brass to Florida where he combine the 2 companies, creating Universal Brass Fabrication, where Mr. Krauthamer supplied customers quality parts customer’s satisfaction and Excellence. Joining the company in 1979, he is third-generation. Upon his father’s retirement in 2014, Mr. Krauthamer took over the company and pledges to continue in its company tradition of supping customers with quality parts, customer’s satisfaction and Excellence.
