Unity In The Family Ministry, Inc. Dr. Calvin Avant, Pastor Our mission remains to present the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the source of LOVE, HOPE and a Transformation from life controlling problems. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). “Unity In The Family Ministry” was founded by the leading of the Holy Spirit, and has been given the task of assisting and providing members of our community a workable option in gaining reconciliation with their families. This reconciliation will occur by empowering our members with the ability to gain control over their life controlling problems by a renewing of their minds and transforming their lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Jolene Avant Center for Excellence was officially dedicated on March 12, 2016 and is open for business. Jolene  Avant was a native of Pensacola, Florida and was also a product of the Escambia County Public School System. Wife of Dr. Calvin Avant and mother to Amy Avant. Jolene was a Human Resource Specialist and Attorney. Jolene Avant left Pensacola and relocated to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area in the 1970's and resided in the Washington, DC area until 1995. In 1995 Jolene, Dr. Avant and daughter Amy relocated to Brevard County, Florida (Space Coast).  In 2001, Jolene passed suddenly of an aneurism. The Jolene Avant Center for Excellence is a testament to her life, accomplishments and achievements.  Unity In The Family Ministry is conducting an Environmental Career Worker Training Program.
