United Retirement Plan Consultants is focused on Mythili (“Lee”) Bachu is President and Chief Executive Officer. She provides leadership and strategic direction for the company's operating markets, plan services and corporate operations. Prior to joining URPC, Lee founded and operated MGA Consultants, Inc., a regional third-party qualified plan administrator where she was responsible for the management and oversight of all corporate functions, including finance, strategy, business process optimization, vendor platforms, innovation and technology development and use. Under her leadership, MGA Consultants experienced exponential growth by delivering best in class service and unparalleled client access to pension related resources tailored to specific needs. Prior to founding MGA Consultants in 1997, Lee devoted her career to working with defined benefit and defined contribution plan service providers. Her immersion in the qualified plan world was the foundation of her broad and widely respected TPA experience and explains why she is recognized as an influential and top-performing leader in the TPA field. Aside from her industry affiliations and contributions, she participates extensively in a wide array of community activities while breaking down barriers and promoting service. Lee is Chair of the Council of Hindu Temples of North America (CHTNA), an association dedicated to promoting positive religious and cultural activities. She also serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, a community-based organization that encourages all major faith communities to have dialogue and foster understanding and community. Previously, Lee was Chairperson of the Washington, DC area’s 20,000 strong Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, and in that capacity she led one of the largest Hindu temple organizations in the United States. The Governor of Maryland appointed her to the Maryland Commission for Women, a Maryland authorized body that guides anti-discrimination efforts and women’s issues through informed advice to the executive and legislative branches of the Maryland State Government. In August of 2015, Ms. Bachu was elected Chairperson. Lisle Smith joined United Retirement in March 2017 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previous to joining URPC, he was the CFO for The CareWorks Family of Companies where he guided the growth of business from early stage startup through its ultimate sale in 2014. Lisle completed five business acquisitions and started two new companies. Combined, these contributed in excess of 50% of overall revenue. His responsibilities included oversight of accounting and finance, information technology, and legal. Lisle is a broad-based financial executive with experience delivering business growth and operational excellence in both manufacturing and service industries. He was vice president, planning and administration at The Scotts Company, where he was responsible for annual planning and budgeting activity and integration of acquired businesses. Bob Zamary joined United Retirement in November 2015 as Senior Vice President of Operations. Craig Mazzini joined United Retirement in January 2018 as Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager. Previously, he was national sales manager at a national third party administration firm where he led sales and marketing, managing a team of 17 sales professionals. Craig has over 26 years of experience in financial services, including 20 years in the retirement services industry. He brings extensive wholesaling experience (third party administration, record-keeping, DCIO, trust and custody, and advisory services), relationship development and management, and operations management skills. Tapas Ghosh joined United Retirement in June 2016 as Vice President, Operational Excellence. Nathan Helmke joined United Retirement in May 2008 and was elevated to Corporate Controller in May of 2017. He has been involved in multiple business acquisitions that resulted in URPC evolving into a national organization. Previous to joining URPC, he was the Controller at Sofa Express, a regional furniture retailer in which he was responsible for the accounting, billing and payroll operations. He started his career as an auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in Columbus, Ohio. Nathan’s responsibilities include daily oversight of the company’s accounting and billing practices.
