Before joining Unique Homes in 2005, Managing Editor Mark Moffa spent five years in the newspaper world, where he served as a reporter and then managing editor for a group of weekly newspapers in and around Princeton, N.J. In that time, he earned a dozen awards for writing, editing and newspaper design from the New Jersey Press Association. Today, when he’s not wishing for snow, rooting on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles or making his lunch, Mark can be found managing the content for Unique Homes and Ultimate Homes. Kathleen Carlin-Russell has been Editor in Chief of Unique Homes since 1995 and has been writing about luxury real estate for more than 17 years. When she isn’t working on the magazine, you can find her spending time with her three wonderful daughters, trying to actually finish a great book she has been reading for weeks (due to having three wonderful daughters), and volunteering at her child’s school. Camilla McLaughlin is a freelance writer and editor with 20 years experience writing about real estate and housing. Specializing in the luxury market, she is a regular contributor to Unique Homes and has written the magazine’s annual luxury outlook since 2001. Her byline also can be found in a number of other publications. Her track record includes a stint behind the real estate editor’s desk for three daily newspapers in suburban Boston. She also was a Realtor in New Hampshire, performed market research for a technical publishing company and served as a press assistant for a member of Congress. A native of Chevy Chase, Md., she currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, having relocated six times since buying her first house in Greenwich, Conn. When she’s not at her desk or attending a real estate conference, you’re most likely to find Camilla on the slopes at Alta or Deer Valley, cheering for the New York Giants or volunteering in her community.
