Originally from Westchester County, New York, his restauarant career began when he took over his father's business, named Pizza Village in 1979. He later redesigned and updated the space, changed the menu to celebrate traditional Italian cuisine and renamed it, Eduardo's. From Eduardo's inseption until it was sold in the fall of 2014, Eddie also formerly owned and operated three other restaurants throughout Westchester, including Eduardo's II, Steakout Eddie's and the Muscoot Tavern. A New Yorker at heart, Eddie decided to sell his remaining restaurants in New York and move south when he found a gem sitting alongside Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina. In the Spring of 2013, Eddie and his partner Ann-Margaret Wagner packed up and moved south, to open Eddie's On Lake Norman. Ann-Margaret also shares a lengthly history working in the restaurant industry, managing food and beverage for casino's in Atlantic City, New Jersey over the course of a decade.
