Ugonnafish is a team based in 2 parts of North America Pierre and Jean met in one of the many tech startup in Montreal. Originally from France and having their fair share of travels it didn’t took long before they hit it off. After a few (memorable) ice fishing trips and stay in Cuba, the pair eventually started to brush a few ideas before coming up with ugonnafish.com in May 2017.With a background in web development and marketing and a passion for traveling and fishing it’s the ideal team to make ugonnafish.com a stellar success. Josh, a born and raised native Floridian, has lived his life on the water fishing for anything that swims. Josh was born in the small city of Dunedin, Florida, a suburb of Tampa, where he cut his teeth fishing freshwater lakes and ponds for largemouth bass. Soon after, Josh started spending most of his time on the saltwater. Josh has had many jobs in the fishing and marine industries, including owning a bait shop, working at a marina, running fishing charters as a licensed captain, fishing in many tournaments, and managing a vacation rental on the inter-coastal waterway. Josh has been a firefighter/paramedic for 13 years; holding a Bachelors degree in Administration. Josh continues to share his love for the water with his wife Melissa and their three children Hunter, Fisher and Sadie Mae. Josh is looking forward to his next adventure with ugonnafish, connecting like minding anglers in the fishing community with top notch captains and dream like destinations.
