U.S. Sports Funding, Inc. is the result of outside-the-box thinking on behalf of Frank Holland. Mr. Holland has spent many years helping and supporting In-Line Speed Skaters both in the United States and around the globe. Mr. Holland approached Michael Alt and Drew Getman with the idea of making a Non-Profit organization that would do this, and the organization was born. The three friends of over 30 years then sat down and talked about who and how they could help and they soon discovered there was a need for assistance across the board. They built a website so they could start accepting applications that would help identify those kids, teens and adults that are in need of different levels of assistance. The strong partnerships and business relationships that are in place provide the ability to leverage those friendships that blossomed into U.S. Sports Funding, Inc. They support such prestigious athletes as the members of the United States In-Line Speed Skating Team. The group recently found a need to support and assist in every sport, at every level, and for all types of disadvantages. The President of the company, Michael Alt, who is completely blind, knows NO limitations, and is very tenacious when it comes to providing assistance for their athletes. U.S. Sports Funding, Inc. is a very open and above-board organization that is aimed at assisting people at all ages and levels with getting into athletics, staying in athletics, and excelling in athletics. By utilizing their business partners and connections, they also monitor and assist in the academic and community accomplishments of the student-athletes they help. CFO and Vice President Drew D. Getman, started speed skating at twelve years old, falling in love with the element of competition and became enthralled within the sport. While still competing to this day in various competitions across the country, he is a licensed massage therapist for a notable Golf and Tennis Resort in the area and has been employed by them for the past 25 years. In the skating community he is known for his ability to help his fellow athletes with his background in massage therapy and rapid healing. He has assisted top athletes in various sports in their endeavors with injury recovery and flexibility training Born in Wichita, Ks, Jims has extensive experience in government operations, business operation, and professional consulting. He worked for the United States Air Force as a civilian employee for 18 years. During that time he was responsible for parks, recreation, and sports at all 54 European installations in USAFE (US Air Force Europe). In that capacity he established policy, conducted inspections and briefed officers up to and including four star generals. Jim operated his own graphic design business after leaving the Air Force and still operates a small hobby related business. In interim years he also worked as a business consultant for one of the largest major construction companies in the United States. Director of Track Cycling, Michael C. Barman has been heavily involved in the sport of cycling for more than 15 years. He has managed and coached various successful cycling teams including the Georgia Institute of Technology, East Point Track Club, and the Southeast Regional Cycling Team. Michael serves as an Advisor/Board Member to multiple biking associations helping to promote the sport as much as possible. Currently for The United States Olympic Track Cycling Team Michael participates not only as a Coach, but as an Official, Race Director he is also a Category Two Racer. Michael also brings to US Sports Funding, Inc. over 10 years of business experience through his AA degree in Business Administration. MIssion Statement
