Twin Oaks Baptist Church was founded over 40 years ago on a rural road in Sleepy Hollow, Illinois. Today, that rural road has blossomed into a premier commercial, residential, and medical corridor in the northwest suburbs. The church's location presents visibility to tens of thousands of travelers each day, and provides easy access to all the major attractions in the city, including O'Hare International Airport and a new major hospital facility. Roy Hazelrig pastored the church for 31 years. Pastor Roy Hazlerig was retired from the railroad and served concurrently in a nursing home and the Way Side Mission Ministry. Jerry Gleason was Pastor at Twin Oaks Baptist Church for 5 years (2010-2015) upon retirement from the Illinois National Guard as Chaplain. Our current pastor is Edgar Engle, see dossier below.
