Twin Love Concierge Team Members TLC’s Associate for the Houston area is a proud mother to three beautiful girls – her eldest a singleton, followed by fraternal twin girls two years later. Kylie is also a part time practicing obstetrician/gynecologist. As an ob/gyn, Kylie has always enjoyed educating and counseling women on prenatal issues as well as giving post-partum, and specifically breastfeeding, support. However, after becoming a mother herself, and particularly after becoming a mother to twins, Kylie realized her desire to provide care and support extended beyond just the medical realm. She joined TLC in order to provide that additional support. Kylie is available for advice and counseling regarding prepartum preparations, including house/nursery/life organization, and purchasing of appropriate gear, as well as addressing postpartum issues, breastfeeding and adjusting to life with multiples, including establishing schedules and routines, sleep training and general early childhood care. Most importantly, she enjoys helping women become happy and successful mothers. You can contact Kylie at Twin Love Concierge Multiples Community Local clubs are groups of volunteers, parents of twins and triplets who get together to provide mutual support and friendship across the UK. Each club is independent and operates under its own rules but all those listed here sign up to our suggested Best Practice. Commonly clubs run playgroups, evening events and second hand equipment sales. Being a member of a local club does not mean you are automatically a member of Tamba and if you want to support your charity and enjoy the many benefits of membership then you will need to join. The North West London Twins club is a Tamba registered club run by a twin mum for twin parents and parents of multiples. It aims to provide support, information, networking opportunities and much more. The NW London twins club welcomes all twin parents and parents of multiples and all users are welcome to use the website. However in terms of activities and club meet ups it’s activities are concentrated around North West London with a large proportion of members around Queens Park, West Hampstead, Kilburn, Hampstead, Willesden, Kensal Rise, Kensal Green, Belsize Park, St Johns Wood, Primrose Hill and Harlesden. Activities, meet ups and playgroups are for members only. I was skeptical, initially, about the value of this class, given I trained in Pediatrics and wondered: what, really, is a non-physician going to tell me about having twins? Not because I was arrogant, but because my time is so limited….I simply wondered whether the class would be a value added activity. Boy, was I glad I went! I had simply NO idea what I was in for…and the class helped orient me to the various facets of not only having a child, but having 2 at o nce. Practical tips for gear were invaluable…things were answered in this class about twin carriers and bathing, for example, that 3 distinct store’s registry experts hadn’t adequately answered previously. A typical days’ schedule was reviewed, fill in sheets for feeding, bottle color coding, and some fundamentals of breast feeding were covered. What to bring to the hospital with you was covered. This is certainly something I never would have even considered. Additionally, many different products and opinions on same will be proffered to expectant parents during the registry/shopping process. This class helped to refine choices that, based on experience, are practical choices for twin parents. TLC came and provided a private class for myself, husband and my parents. I am over the moon happy we have them in our lives now! The advice provided was EXACTLY what we were looking for and they took into consideration our unique pregnancy situation. when making recommendations. I have already written an embarrassing number of followup questions and they not only quickly respond but also make me feel comfortable asking. My only wish was that we had found Shannon earlier. I cant recommend her services enough. Definitely go to TLC and We are still reaping the benefits of this workshop!
