Turning Pointe of Melbourne opened its doors in September 2002. Our mission is to provide dancers with a quality education in dance while instilling a love for art of dance. It is our philosophy and commitment to educate all students, consistent with their abilities and goals. This education will contribute to a sense of personal worth, independence, emotional maturity, and self-confidence. For the more serious dancer, our school offers performance and competition opportunities. Our dancers have won many regional awards, as well as being recognized for their talent with scholarships and internships around the United States. Our instructors are dedicated to providing a well-rounded dance instructive curriculum and focus on adhering to the highest standards to help students reach their ultimate potential. They not only teach the technique of each step, but the art of movement. They are enthusiastic and passionate about what they do and are eager to pass along to each student the true love of dance. We are devoted to equal treatment of and care for all students regardless of age or level of proficiency. We pride ourselves in including the family in all aspects of moving our studio forward toward our vision.
