ABOUT TURNERS UNDERSEAL Later I worked marketing and training with a new product from Raychem of California. This consisted of High Voltage Cable Termination heat Shrink kits that revolutionized cable installations in power plant construction in the Ohio Tri-State area. Basically it saved labor and produced a much better product. In 1982 I entered the indoor air quality business with mostly small commercial and residential accounts. In 1989 I went into a partnership for a central air duct cleaning service in Jacksonville doing mostly residential homes. I later owned a central air duct cleaning business. Eventually I became President of PureAir Systmes Corp. in Atlanta, Ga. which included high tech central air purification, Indoor Air Quality Certification, spray foam insulation, dry ice blast cleaning, and Crawlspace Renovation. Our company worked in many high end communities around Atlanta, Ga., Fairfield Glade in Crossville, Tennessee, Lake Oconee – Reynolds Plantation in Ga. And others. Along with performing these home improvements, I did quite a bit of indoor air quality testing and assessment. Marketing the business included: radio, newspaper, TV, and internet. Word of mouth always helped the business. It was always very exciting to see the improvements in customers air quality and the way it made them feel. Many of them loved it. I can certainly say that indoor air quality in homes is vital to anyone’s health. I had customers that sold their homes much quicker and for more money because of the improvements. After 2005 I emphasized Crawlspace cleaning, permanent liners, and dehumidification because health issues with crawlspaces were a significant problem as determined by my experience and many national studies. I have to say that controlling moisture indoors is extremely important. For over 30 years I have worked in many aspects of the indoor air quality business mostly with homeowners and I have had many satisfied customers.
