TURBO RETRIEVERS, INC. is a prestigious breeder of hunting and field Golden Retrievers, founded in 1984 by Ron and Pat Rubrecht during their time in Minnesota where they acquired their first golden retriever as a pet. Despite not being the primary focus in their lives due to their work commitments, breeding these dogs remains a major passion for the couple who continue to balance their professional responsibilities with their dedication to raising top-quality Golden Retrievers. The organization started with their first litter from Buddy (Rubrecht’s Buddy), who had a strong field pedigree, and Golden Cozy Bear, leading eventually to a limited but prestigious breeding program that has recognized several of its dogs at Master Hunter status.
