TSR TACTICAL was founded by TS Robinson, and represents a holistic approach towards thoughtful and helpful products, services, and educational presentations (e.g. safety & awareness demonstrations, keynote speaking engagements & seminars, 1-2 day workshops & ongoing personal consulting services) catering to corporations, communities & educational institutions, but available to all interested parties, along with associated products and supporting services. TSR TACTICAL APPROACH on SELF DEFENSE – The ability to defend yourself and develop personal strength and confidence are not mysterious secrets requiring years of martial arts training to learn and apply. TS (Tim) Robinson, a lifetime practitioner of martial arts over the past 30 years with black belt certifications in 5 different martial arts, will help you become prepared to manage potential violence no matter where you are. Each class provides an opportunity for you to learn a proactive system of practical, & proven self-defense techniques and strategies for personal safety and awareness. This self-defense system follows the natural progression of least resistance: TS (Tim) Robinson, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, has been a lifelong student and practitioner of the martial arts in many of its traditional styles. The notion of training in one particular martial art “for life” appealed to him only if it were a collective and comprehensive system, similar to Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do (JKD) martial art, which is a collection of techniques learned from other styles (and a precursor to mixed martial arts). With that philosophy in mind, Tim has earned black belts in 5 martial arts: Taekwondo, Shorin Ryu Karate, Ju Jitsu, Aikido, Jodo, and currently trains in Wing Chun Kung Fu. In his self defense classes, he uses the most effective techniques from these traditional styles and applies them against any form of attack. Each class provides an opportunity for you to learn a system of practical, proven, self-defense techniques and strategies for personal safety and awareness. This system includes powerful street self-defense, unarmed weapons defense, defense from the ground, and effective use of your environment and defensive tools found in your everyday surroundings. Simple, fast, & easy to remember, these basic moves from an eclectic group of martial arts will give you the confidence to defend yourself and your loved ones with confidence when needed. TSR Tactical: The Offense of Self Defense TSR Tactical: The Offense of Self Defense To date, TSR Tactical courses and instructor Sensei Tim is always high energy and uses great examples to help us remember and learn. – Every aspect of the TSR Tactical program was valuable to me. – It was so helpful to learn about the proper mindset and mentality to have – don’t panic or freeze up when the threat happens. – Sensei Tim’s demonstrations, encouragement of class participation, and array of self defense products made for a exciting and engagement classroom environment. Highly recommended. – It was awesome to have products available for sale during each class. I was able to learn, handle and discuss each weapon and decide what was best for me. There’s so many other choices of self defense weapons other than a gun. I went for the effective but non-lethal product of pepper spray. I just attached it to my keychain and have it on me at all times! – I like what Sensei Tim said in a class – “it’s not about blocking or defending against every kind of attack, rather it’s using the right kind of defense against an attack.” Learning what the proper response should be to any given situation helps prepare me. I no longer have just a hammer in my toolbox to use against a threat. Sensei Tim taught me if I can be aware and alert, then I can avoid a threat altogether, and if I do have to defend myself against an attack I have more options than just a kick or a punch now.
