Quality construction, customer service and satisfaction are the cornerstone of our business. Corporate Information / Our Philosophy The Owners of Truex Preferred Construction, Bill and Andrea Truex have built the business on the fundamental values they prized above all others: honesty, hard work, exceptional performance and a single-minded focus on quality and doing what is right for our clients. Many things have changed in the world of construction over the past couple of years but our belief in these core values remains constant. TPC considers success a by-product of commitment to our clients. TPC continues to be guided by the simple philosophy of doing, above all else, what is in the best interests of their clients. They continue to seek and attract the highest – caliber people, for they drive on innovation. TPC continues to embrace changes in the marketplace for helping clients with new innovative construction. We continue to embrace our Mission Statement which sets us apart from our competition. The Owners are most proud of the talented professionals that comprise Truex Preferred Construction, their continuing commitment to our fundamental values, and the lasting improvements and impressions they have left with our customers that entrust us and come from all over the world. Bill Truex has been involved in the construction industry since 1992. He has been a licensed contractor since, and is well known in the industry and community. Bill is a Certified Graduate Builder, Certified Green Building Professional and is certified in mold remediation. Bill and his wife Andrea have lived in the Englewood Area since 1991 and started Truex Preferred Construction in 2005. Andrea Truex manages the HR and marketing for Truex Preferred Construction. She is also responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing TPC’s vision, mission, and overall direction along with Bill. Together they have built Truex Preferred Construction and assembled a “Team” of Professionals they are very proud of. In 2015 Bill Truex, Owner of Truex Preferred Construction was awarded In 2014 Truex Preferred Construction was honored to receive the prestigious award Truex Preferred Construction was awarded “Remodeler of the Year 2012 and 2011” by the Englewood Sun Readers’ Choice. 2011 and 2008 “Excellence in Business” Award In 2011 and also in 2008, Truex Preferred Construction was honored by receiving the “Excellence in Business Award” from the Englewood Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce. The community voted for their nominees. The criteria for this award was a business that demonstrated support of the goals of the Chamber, commitment to honorable business practices, innovative products, valuable services, company growth and strives to increase stability/ improvement to the community. Bill Truex of Truex Preferred Construction receives the 2010 Paul Joyal Pinnacle Award. In 2010 Truex Preferred Construction was honored to receive three prestigious awards. The first award received was the “Paul Joyal Pinnacle Builder of The Year”. for doing a high percentage of business with association members. The honor is sponsored by the Associates/Trades Council was presented to Bill Truex at the recent FHBA Fall Leadership Conference by Joyal and Council Chair George Cooper of the Treasure Coast BA.” The second award received was “2010 Builder of the Year” voted by the Charlotte DeSoto Building Association. CDBIA (Charlotte DeSoto Building Association) is a non-profit organization consisting of a group of individuals and firms who care about their community. Association members come from all types of businesses-builders, large and small, architects, engineers, subcontractors, financial institutions, public utilities, manufacturers, suppliers, retail and wholesale firms, and marketing professionals. These firms and individuals are proud of the part they play in building the communities where they work and live. In November of 2006 the Sun Newspaper announced a 30 min. Fox TV program featuring our company. We were the only builder in our area selected based on their criteria to be most innovative, creative, quality driven and for positive interactions with our customers. In October 2006 Truex Preferred Construction was honored by receiving the “Nova Award” from the Englewood Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce. The criteria for the “Nova Award” are as follows: Commitment to honorable business practices Innovative products, valuable services, company growth Initiative / creativity enhancing their particular business / profession The Owner of Truex Preferred Construction, Bill Truex is very involved within in the community and is a strong believer in “giving back”.
