What is Tropical Racing? Tropical Racing is a horse racing partnership group with a unique, new business model. Our revolutionary approach combines a full scale, for-profit partnership group with a luxury membership club under the Tropical umbrella. Initially focusing on the South Florida market Tropical Racing has plans to expand nationwide in the near future. Why Tropical Racing? Tropical Racing has a wide variety of levels for every type of owner. Platinum membership is our highest level which includes an equity stake in the Tropical Racing horses. This is the level at which members are actual owners who have full access to the stable, are eligible for our concierge service and will have the opportunity to share in any profits realized. Platinum Members will also have a special private section available to them on our website with confidential information available. The Gold and Silver levels are strictly club memberships with no equity in the horses. These are for owners looking for a smaller initial investment but still want to be part of the Tropical Racing team. Outside of being able to say that you belong to the stable that owns the horses we have put together a very nice perks package for our Gold level members. These include discounts for local restaurants and businesses as well as some limited stable access and raceday accommodations. Gold members also get priority access to buy into a new Platinum level horse offering prior to Silver members or the general public. The Silver members will have a reduced perks package with no stable access or raceday accommodations but can still be on the Tropical team. How Tropical Racing Works The core of Tropical Racing’s partnership is our Platinum level membership. At this level we are syndicating groups of horses for purchase. Our minimum investment at this level is 5% of a particular group of horses or 10% of an individual horse. Tropical Racing’s management strongly believes in the philosophy of mitigating risk while increasing the thrill and excitement of watching your horses race and increasing your opportunity for winners by spreading your investment throughout a group of horses. Rather than simply investing in ‘a horse’ this setup allows the Platinum members to have a greater chance of success, which is measured by winner circle appearances. Tropical Racing’s model puts together diverse groups of 3-5 horses for Platinum members to purchase. However, because we do not restrict ourselves to one form of acquiring horses, occasionally we will syndicate an individual horse that we purchase that doesn't fit a group or is purchased after a group has closed. That allows us the freedom and flexibility to grab that special horse that may not appear in the traditional sales that we generally look to acquire horses from. What is Tropical Racing’s innovative plan to reduce investors expenses? Tropical Racing is not just a plain vanilla horse racing partnership where only the wealthy are able to participate. Our club memberships offer a chance for fans to be a part of the Tropical team, however they will not be full owners of the horses nor will they share in any expenses or revenues produced. Where those memberships will help owners offset a portion of their expenses Tropical is dedicating a percentage of club membership revenue to be used towards the expenses of the horses. What are the Tropical Racing Clubs? Tropical Racing’s membership clubs were designed for the fan of the sport that may not have the financial resources that would allow them to make a significant investment in a traditional partnership which would require a large initial outlay. Our membership clubs give people the ability to have an official affiliation with Tropical Racing without actually being owners. Members also are eligible for the perks and incentives packages that Tropical Racing Clubs are offering. Become a Tropical Racing Member Tropical Racing Clubs There are two levels of club membership, Gold and Silver (Platinum membership is reserved for those with an equity stake in Tropical’s horses). The Gold and Silver levels are strictly club memberships with no ownership equity involved. Along with being able to say that you belong to Tropical Racing, we have put together a very nice perks package for our members. Tropical Racing's Post Racing Career Plan Tropical Racing is very deeply committed to providing proper care for each of our equine partners. That care does not end once their racing careers are over however. Actually once their racing days are over is when the rest of their lives begin and Tropical’s management will develop a post racing plan for each of our horses.
