Back in 1979, Florida native, Mark Hughes started Tropical Landscape and Design. He wanted to work and enjoy his work while supporting his family, which he did. He quickly realized that maintaining proprties paid the bills but he wanted more for his company. Mark had a natural sense for creative design and he began to express that talent through landscape design. He started gettng recognized for his clean, colorful designs and a nice stream of business began to come in. Mark worked mostly small projects, but job after job he reworked his style until Mark and his team were understanding balance, weight, growth rates, textures, tolerance, susceptability, etc. As time goes on Tropical Landscape and Design started getter larger contracts both commercial and residential, the field knowledge, service, and experience was paying off. Today Mark Hughes and his crew operate a very reputable, high quality landscape design company. Many frienships and return clients have been made over the years. Mark values honest work and his word, his family and all his clients.
