Company Information Company History From our early days in turn-of-the century St. Louis, TricorBraun has grown to be the undisputed leader in rigid packaging and related services. Through hard work, perseverance and smart, strategic growth, we have experienced phenomenal success including the ongoing development of designs, molds, territories, engineering capabilities and a broad selection of services. TricorBraun’s leadership team is comprised of the most knowledgeable people in the packaging industry. With a combined tenure in the industry of almost a century, together they set the standard for excellence in the marketplace. Court Carruthers became TricorBraun’s President and CEO October 2017. Carruthers has served on TricorBraun’s board of directors since AEA’s purchase of the company. He previously spent 13 years with W.W. Grainger Inc., serving in various global leadership roles, most recently as Group President, Americas. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s $9 billion business across North and South America, including 15,000 team members in more than 500 locations, as well as eCommerce and technology innovation for the company. In addition, Carruthers brings considerable public and private board experience, including US Foods, Ryerson Holding Corp, and Follett Corporation. With more than three decades of experience in the packaging industry, Mr. Strope has expertise in every stage of new package and product development, as well as extensive experience in sales, management and operations. Mr. Strope began his career with TricorBraun as an Account Representative; in 2002, he was named Chief Executive Officer and President. In October of 2017 Mr. Strope became the Executive Chairman. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for TricorBraun, Mr. Strope serves on the boards of two other companies. As the third generation of the founding family of TricorBraun, Ken Kranzberg literally grew up in the packaging industry. Mr. Kranzberg joined the business in 1960 and opened its first branch office in Memphis seven years later. He continued to preside over the company’s national expansion, serving as its president for many years. In addition to his position as Chairman of the Board of TricorBraun, Mr. Kranzberg is deeply involved in philanthropy and serves on the board of many organizations including the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Opera Theatre of St. Louis and the Missouri History Museum. TricorBraun has been a leading force in the packaging industry for a very long time. We believe we owe that leadership position to a commitment to our core values.
