Welcome to the Tri-County Caregiver Resource Center. My name is Amy Cearley and I created the resource center in hopes of providing a place where caregivers can go and be educated on their options without being "sold to". There is nothing more difficult when caring for a loved one and being overwhelmed with navigating through the healthcare system. Our goal is to help families put a plan in place. We help them by educating families on what resources are available to them, when they may need certain resources, and how much these resources will effect them financially. Based on my personal experience in caring for my brother through his battle with ALS I found it to be frustrating for others to stand from the outside and tell me all the things I should be doing and what I was doing incorrectly. When you are in the moment of caring for family sometimes you just want to make it through the day. Caregivers come in all forms. From providing occasional trips to the grocery store or the doctor to providing daily hands-on care, your Caregiving role is important! The Caregiver Resource Center of Tri-County can help you find answers, solve problems and understand the available options as you care for your family member, partner or friend. No matter whether you have been providing care for a long time or are new to the role, we are here to help navigate around your options.
