Mr. Treace founded Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. in January, 2014. Mr. Treace has over 22 years of expertise in medical device Marketing, Sales, and General Management. Mr. Treace is the former Senior Vice President of US Sales and Global Marketing for Wright Medical, Inc. (WMGI). During a 12 year tenure with Wright, Mr. Treace served in a number of senior management roles including V.P. of Marketing and G.M. - Biologics and Extremities. Prior to Wright, Mr. Treace was Director of Marketing for Medtronic Xomed (MDT) and Advertising & Marketing Director for start-up company, TreBay Medical Corp. Mr. Treace also served on the Board of ENTrigue Surgical, which was acquired by Arthrocare Corporation in July, 2013. Robert has 30 years of corporate finance, business development, and public accounting experience. Prior to joining Treace Medical Concepts, Inc, Robert spent 7 years at RTI Surgical, Inc. as Executive Vice President, CFO. Prior to RTI, Robert spent 17 years with Medtronic, plc in various capacities including Vice President, Finance and Business Development for Medtronic’s Spinal and Biologics business unit, Vice President, Finance for Medtronic’s Surgical Technologies business unit, Senior Director, Corporate Development, and Director Finance, Medtronic Europe. Prior to Medtronic, Robert spent 2 years as Manager, External Reporting at The Fairchild Corporation and 4 years as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche. Robert obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration (accounting) from Southern Methodist University and a Masters of Business Administration (concentration in finance) from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Ferguson has spent the last 20 years in medical device development spanning foot and ankle, extremities, trauma, large joint reconstruction, and spine. Most recently, Mr. Ferguson served as General Manager of the Florida Co-Innovation group of IMDS after having spent 4 years dedicated to foot and ankle specific R&D with Wright Medical, Inc. (WMGI). Mr. Ferguson has held positions with a variety of responsibilities including R&D, Quality, Operations, Intellectual Property and Regulatory for companies such as Smith & Nephew (SNN), Wright Medical, Inc., DePuy a Johnson & Johnson company (JNJ), Spinal Dynamics (acquired by Medtronic), Medtronic and IMDS. Mr. Ferguson also has 8 issued US patents and 23 patents pending. Kirk has 18 years of experience as an accounting professional in both public accounting and private industry. Prior to joining Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. he spent twelve years in medical device as divisional controller within Biomet Inc.’s craniomaxillofacial business unit in Jacksonville, Florida . Prior to his experience in the medical device sector Kirk worked in public accounting for a regional CPA firm based in Jacksonville. He also worked in various finance roles at the Corporate headquarters of Armor Holdings, a manufacturing company located in Jacksonville. Kirk is a Certified Public Accountant and obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration (accounting) from the University of North Florida and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Jacksonville University. Mr. Brennan is a board member for the Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center and a member of Jacksonville University’s alumni board of governors. Mr. Frias has over 30 years of legal and compliance experience primarily in the medical device market. He began his collaboration with the Company in 2014 as legal counsel and corporate secretary through his firm, Frias Legal PA. Mr. Frias is the former Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel for the Surgical Technologies division of Medtronic, Inc. (MDT). During a 15-year tenure with Medtronic he was responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the MDT Surgical Technologies division as well as for the MDT Latin America division from 2000 to 2005. Prior to joining MDT, he served as in-house counsel for Xomed Surgical Products, Inc. from 1998 until the acquisition of Xomed by Medtronic (MDT) in 1999. From 1991 to 1998 Mr. Frias was in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida with the firms of Mahoney, Adams & Criser PA (becoming a shareholder in 1996) and McGuireWoods LLP. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, he was an associate with the New York offices of Baker & McKenzie, focusing primarily on securities, mergers and acquisitions and international transactions, and participated in the Baker & McKenzie International Clerkship Program in New York during the summer of 1986 and Madrid, Spain during the summer of 1987. He received his JD from The University of Michigan Law School in 1988 and holds a Bachelor of Music with high honors from the University of Florida.
