As executive vice president, David Saloff oversees marketing and drives business development and partnerships for THM. Mr. Saloff has over 30 years of startup and early-stage healthcare company experience and extensive involvement in durable medical equipment and physical therapy, two of THM’s highest volume ancillary service areas. He successfully led two of his companies through their initial public offering and a third was sold to a larger healthcare products company. As the senior executive in charge of business development at each of his companies, Mr. Saloff secured licensing and distribution agreements with several major healthcare companies including Allergan Medical, Stryker Medical and Select Medical. Mr. Saloff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Adelphi University.
As senior vice president of IT and chief information officer, Leo Hurtado oversees all aspects of information technology activities and systems for THM. Previously vice president and CIO of Bunch CareSolutions, Mr. Hurtado has more than 23 years of senior IT management experience in both domestic and international industries. Under his leadership, the company successfully migrated its original case management platform to the CITADEL platform, as well as integrated the StrataWare software into the company’s bill review rules engine. Mr. Hurtado holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Martin University and a Master of Science degree from Webster University.
As CEO and founder of Rising Medical Solutions, Jason Beans has built a proven framework to increase the cost effectiveness and quality of medical care. Prior to Rising, he was the national director of property and casualty operations at Concentra and previously held several management positions with its predecessor, CRA Managed Care. He was previously a founding principal of medical management consultancy BND Operations Company. He serves on several boards of directors in the insurance and managed care industries and is an inductee into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Mr. Beans graduated from the MIT/EO Entrepreneurial Master’s Program and holds a degree in finance from Boston College.
As chairman and CEO of Promise Healthcare, Peter Baronoff oversees one of the leading long-term acute care hospital companies in the US, which owns and operates 18 hospitals and two skilled nursing facilities. Under his leadership, Mr. Baranoff has garnered nearly 15 years of experience in acute care hospital management in both California and Missouri, in which he currently serves as executive chairman of Success Healthcare. Respected and elected by his peers for his` thought leadership, business and financial acumen, Peter served as a three-term President of the Acute Long-Term Hospital Association (ALTHA) Board of Directors. Mr. Baronoff holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida.
As director of Cloudamize, Jonathan Palmer pilots a powerful tool for workload modeling and optimization for companies considering moving infrastructure to the cloud. Previously director at Heartland Payment Systems, Mr. Palmer has become a revered Fintech private investor with nearly 30 years of experience of all facets in FinTech. He currently serves on the boards of different investment firms, including: The Heller Group, Mission OG and PLH Holdings. Under his leadership, Mr. Palmer was responsible for a joint venture between Visa USA and TSYS to oversee the second largest merchant payment processor in the US, while also doubling in size. This significantly improving profitability within five years time, competing head to head with First Data for the leadership position in merchant payment processing. Palmer obtained a Bachelor of Science from LaSalle University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Medical Affairs in the Specialty Care Business Unit at Pfizer
As senior vice president and head of clinical development/medical affairs in the Specialty Care Business Unit at Pfizer, Gerald Ostrov (also known as “Jerry”) leads the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical company. Having served on the board of Bausch & Lomb, Johnson & Johnson and Ciba-Geigy AG, Mr. Ostrov has over 35 years experience in advising large pharmaceutical corporations, organization and associations, most recently the Cozi Group. Mr. Ostrov earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
As managing director of GI Partners, Alexander Fraser oversees this San Francisco-based private equity firm, investing in middle-market, asset-based businesses for special/structured situations and real estate investments. Previously vice president of J.P. Morgan and serving on the boards of Sunset Gower Studios, The Telx Group, Plum Healthcare Group, FlatIron Crossing, STAG Industrial, Waypoint and AdvoServ, as well as currently serving on the board of MRI Software, Mr. Fraser has over 22 years of experience in private equity funding and investments. Under his leadership, Mr. Fraser provided strategic advisement for REITs, REOC’s, real estate opportunity funds on capital market and M&A transactions. Mr. Fraser hold a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
