It critically examines traditional leadership and practice and invites leaders to make decisions with the needs and interests of their stakeholders in mind, thus allowing all voices and experiences to be a part of the entity’s narrative. – We believe that the transformation process begins with critical reflection and honest dialogue. Allyson L. Copeland has worked in the Florida University System for over 6 years. As the coordinator of Online Programs at a local For-Profit college, she helped to find solutions for students who were technologically disadvantaged. As an Instructional Designer at Florida Atlantic University, she helps faculty develop curriculum and implement effective teaching strategies through digital mediums. Allyson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Florida Atlantic University. She continues to teach Multicultural Education courses at local colleges and universities with a focus on the intersectionality of Race, Class, and Gender in education.
