Seriously… her mother’s water broke while she was working at her store Christian Michi. After seeing Claudia Schiffer walk down the catwalk in Paris when she was 6, Emily was destined to be in the fashion industry. She started helping her mom in the stock room when she was 12, going to market to buy with her mom and working on the sales floor when she was 16 and by the time she was 24 she was hiring staff, going to market without her mom, dressing the windows and helping to run the shop. After a few more years of working at Christian Michi, Emily decided it was time to make her own vision a reality. She had done “pop-up shops” with Christian Michi at several horse shows and decided she could combine her passions to make one really sweet business for herself!
