Towards the beginning of his adolescent years, Cameron was introduced to climbing through the high school his dad taught at. At the time, his dad ran the Alpine Club, a club designed as a way to reward students who were doing well in school by taking them on weekend long camping trips. These trips would vary in location, but would regularly frequent well-known parks such as Yosemite National Park and The Pinnacles National Park. A lot of students who participated in this club didn’t have the regular means to go on such trips, so this was a new and inspiring event for all involved. Now a days, Cameron spends most of his time as a substitute teacher while attending graduate school in pursuit of his teaching credentials. When he is not in the formal classroom, he can be found at the San Diego Natural History Museum helping out in the education department. And when he isn’t playing the role of an educator, you can find Cameron outside exploring new areas to take people camping and climbing. Everything you need to climb is provided for every trip and most courses. This includes, shoes, harness, helmets, belay devices, and more. Do you have your own gear? Did you get some cool new climbing doodad and want to know how to use it properly? Feel free to bring any of your own gear and asks questions, I will answer your questions and more! Every trip and course comes with a custom picnic style lunch. Carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, and everything in between will be satisfied when the sun reaches high noon. A group style picnic is the best way to refuel your spirit of adventure. With special care and consideration, all lunches and snacks provided will meet any dietary need! Adventure and education. These are the two things Town’s End Adventures is passionate about. Whether we are approaching the crag, climbing all day, or just chilling and having a picnic, there is a good chance you will learn something new.
