Even better, they keep audiences engaged with vibrant content whether at trade shows, sold-out concert venues, corporate events, or anywhere you need to make an amazing impression. We set out to develop the world’s first completely see through multi touch controller for DJs and live performers, creating the DVS (Dual View System) and our Emulator Pro software. The first of its kind, this software allowed crowds to see exactly what the performer was doing, providing a completely new live visual experience. DVS won DJ Magazine’s “Most Innovative Product award in 2010, and was called “The World’s Most Advanced DJ System”. As a statement of our commitment to the bridge between hardware and software, we changed our name from SmithsonMartin to Touch Innovations. We also launched Emulator 2, a complete rebuild of our patented Emulator Pro software, allowing multi touch functionality for TUIO supported touch monitors. Finally, we expanded our Elite line with two new models, the Elite Lite and Elite IR, giving users even more options for creating the ultimate visual WOW factor. Heavily focused on the support and development of existing products, our team developed a need for a tool that offered greater efficiency in their editing processes with various software. All potential solutions were far too expensive and bulky to meet their needs, so came the birth of the Kontrol Master.
