About Total Compass Care Total Compass Care provides the highest quality of assisted living options for adults faced with medical health care problems. Mission Statement Our focus is to provide quality care and professional guidance to individuals with mild to moderate disabilities for adults 18 years or older in Pinellas County. Total Compass Care knowledgeable staff is committed to building a trusting relationship with individuals that will ultimately integrate them into their community and provide the supports required to achieve their goals and realize their dreams. Residential Habilitation Services provide a full day (24-hour basis) of services and/or supports which are designed to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the participant, and assist in the acquisition, improvement, and retention of skills necessary to support participants to live successfully in their own homes. Total Compass Care provides the provision of supports necessary for an adult who has a developmental disability to establish, live in and maintain a household of his choosing in the community. Services are provided in support of a goal which includes the support plan or an identified need to support or maintain basic health and safety and provides assistance and training to the person in activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and preparation of meals. Supported employment services provide training and assistance to help support recipients in job development and sustaining paid employment at or above minimum wage unless the recipient is operating a small business. We Help You Implement Them! Our Mission Total Compass Care is accessible 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-per-week for emergency assistance. Total Compass Care promotes the belief that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are people first.
