Eric Swanson is a fourth generation carpenter builder.  His father was an AIA board certified architect who practiced in Florida for over 40 years.  The 2004 hurricane season, specifically on the US East Coast was the motivation for the invention and development of the Trap-Loc Building Products.  25 years prior to founding Top Down Siding, LLC in 2007, Eric founded, co-owned and operated a custom manufacturing facility that serviced customers at the wholesale level. In addition, he created products that were sold in his own stores direct to retail. Since that time the company has received several patents related to this building product technology with additional innovations and patents currently pending. Bruce Cowgill received a bachelor's degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University. He also successfully completed the Government and Industry Course at the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C., as well as the Manufacturing Management Program at General Electric Corp. He served in various positions at General Electric Corp., Gates Energy Corp. and Frigidaire Corp. before joining the Insulation Group of CertainTeed Corp. (a Saint-Gobain Group company), where he served as President from 1990 to 2000. In July 2000, Cowgill was selected as President and CEO of Saint-Gobain Glass Containers. In 2008, Bruce joined our team as a senior partner of TDS, LLC.
