Tom Christian Construction is a true custom home builder. Our goal is not to build the majority of the homes as fast as possible in the area, but to build one-of-a-kind homes with a focus on excellence and quality. With that goal and by constructing fewer homes, our clients are guaranteed “hands on” and individual attention. We use the finest building materials including wood studs, extra framing and trim, foam insulation and other more specific materials in the construction of our houses. Although we do not have a model home, clients of Tom Christian Construction are extremely proud of their homes and are pleased to show them to our potential clients. Tom Christian came to the Marco Island/Naples area in 1973 from Alabama. A carpenter by trade, he has worked in the construction industry in the Collier County area for over 40 years. Obtaining his General Contractor’s license early on enabled Tom to expand his career to building single family homes as well as commercial properties in the 70’s. His extensive knowledge of construction, building materials and building codes ensures the final product will be completed properly. As a member of the community, Tom Christian has a strong desire to provide the best possible service and product that he can be proud of for many years to come. He has raised his family here and is a proud grandfather – a new generation of Marco Islanders and Floridians! Supporting the local civic organizations is important to Tom and his family. Friendships are created during the building process because of the ease of working with Tom and his team. “With honesty and integrity” best describe how Tom Christian provides building services to his clients. Even after the project is complete, Tom Christian and his staff makes themselves available to answer any questions and provide assistance when needed for our clients, past and present. Tom Christian Construction is fully licensed and insured. All subcontractors and suppliers are required to be the same. The proven team at Tom Christian Construction Inc. has been together for many years – Fred and Ron are our highly skilled carpenters. They have been with Tom a number of years. Mike is an invaluable member of the team – working with Tom for over 15 years. Examples of their quality work is noteworthy and can be seen throughout our photo gallery. We have painters and helpers on staff who have also been with us a number of years. Tom Christian has a very low turnover of his qualified construction crew due to his professional relationship with his team. Pat Holmes has been with Tom Christian Construction for over 12 years as his office manager, accountant, assistant and over all “Girl Friday”. Pat’s extensive knowledge of real estate, home construction, permitting, building codes, and her personal knowledge and acquaintances on Marco Island have proven invaluable to Tom Christian’s success.
