Our managers – with extensive backgrounds in hospital, home health, hospice, social work, behavior health and business administration – direct the non-medical personal care we provide, allowing you to remain confident in our services. Our management team, scheduling staff and caregivers are all committed to working around the clock, available to help your loved one when they need a helping and able hand. We also work closely with physicians, religious organizations, senior citizens groups, adult living facilities and others in the community to provide seamless, well-coordinated services that deliver care catered to the needs of each of our clients. Continuing our impactful reach outside the homes of our patients is something we are passionate about and strive to do on a daily basis. With regular speaking engagements at hospitals, medical groups and civic organizations, we are able to educate and advocate for the needs of our community’s senior and disabled citizens. Each of the nearly 130 caregivers currently with TLC has gone through an extensive selection procedure, including: TLC Caregivers is proud to be one of only a handful of organizations in Florida specially certified by the state to provide personal care services to developmentally disabled people. To simplify life for our clients, we also take full responsibility for withholding all taxes and paying the Social Security payments for our caregivers. Our “Quality Checklist” can help you identify and compare services that are reliable, professional, trustworthy, and safe. TLC Caregivers are fully covered by Workers Compensation Insurance. TLC Caregivers is registered by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration to provide Personal Care, Companion and Homemaker services (#5703), licensed in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, and is certified by Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities to provide Respite, Personal Care, Companion, and In-home Support. Unlike many “sitter services”, TLC Caregivers employs our caregivers. This is critically important because taxes and social security are withheld from payroll and paid by TLC, relieving clients of legal liability and complicated record keeping. TLC supervisors are available around the clock ensuring your unique plan of care and schedule caters to your need. Our 24 hour schedulers are ready when you need them.
