who acknowledge Jesus Christ as God’s only Son and believe that Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected by His Father three days later to demonstrate His power over death. Christians understand and acknowledge the Bible as the one and only guide we are authorized to use when matters pertaining to the church and our personal spiritual lives are involved. No creeds or supplemental texts are used as a basis of authority. The church is a “non-denominational” congregation, meaning we are not under the authority of any larger church or headquarters. Our authority is from the Bible. “Non-denominational” is different from “multi-denominational” congregations who accept the teachings and practices of different denominations and groups. Christians are commanded to worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). As such, our worship services are patterned after the commands and examples given in the New Testament. Our worship is meant to be pleasing to God and edifying to one another; but keeping in mind that we are not entertaining God or ourselves, we honor and glorify Him in the way He has asked us to.
