The Timoun Lakay Foundation [tee-moon lah-kai] (“kids back home” in Haitian Creole) was established in 2009 by a group of Haitians and Americans dedicated to giving back to Haiti, especially its children.  We are a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Florida. She speaks French, Haitian Creole and some Spanish. Timoun Lakay Foundation  •  A 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization Your generous donations can provide the following: Timoun Lakay Foundation  •  A 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization Through TLF funding, our partners provide daily nutritional meals to the children in their care to ensure better health and, in some cases, help them focus on their studies.  We also work with volunteer health providers to screen for diabetes, sickle cell anemia, vision, dental, and hearing.    TLF works with private primary schools to ensure young people possess the necessary knowledge to become productive members of society.   We provide tuition assistance to children with challenging life circumstances and encourage active participation from their parents and communities.
