Like most good bars, this one started as a joke, of sorts. My father Steve and his best friend Larry went lobstering just about every year starting in the 1980s, often with family in tow. Dad would occasionally jest about leaving his law practice to open a Key West bar and call it the Ticklestick Lounge!
And then it came to me last year when thinking of what to get the ol' man for Christmas: I'll make the Ticklestick Lounge come true!! We'll .. semi-true. ;)
