graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she met her husband, Lance McKnight. They traveled extensively for 3 months after graduation and then made the move down to the island on which she was raised, St. Thomas, with their mission of positively impacting the health of her island community. Dr. Tammi is passionate about educating people about the healing potential of their incredible bodies, and holds the highest level certification in a branch of chiropractic that reprograms your neurology, Network Spinal Analysis. She regularly attends training and seminars to keep up to date on the latest information and technology regarding Chiropractic care. She loves the outdoors and can often be found enjoying time at the beach or in the ocean with her husband Lance and their 2 dogs. Driven by his passion to serve others and understand the human body, Dr. Lance McKnight continues to positively change lives of his patients and community. “I just want to help people experience natural positive changes in their health and life.” Receiving general chiropractic care from the age of 10, Dr. Lance’s life changed when he received his first Upper Cervical Specific Adjustment in 2008. “Everything made sense, and I promised to share this amazing form of healthcare with the people in my life. At the young age of 33, I was suffering from chronic lower back pain and excessive neck tension. I was under chiropractic care for years and it helped tremendously however It felt I reached a plateau in my heatlh. Then with a specific correction of my Atlas bone from an upper cervical specialist… It all melted away over the course of several weeks and I was amazed! I felt my body slowly reorganizing itself after a life time of car accidents, football, snowboarding and surfing injuries.” Dr. Lance continues to study and train with masters of the Upper Cervical Techniques so he can be sure he is delivering the best care he absolutely can to the Virgin Islands community he has fallen in love with. Melissa has lived on St. Thomas for 3 years. She relocated from Florida in 2012. Melissa has been a yoga teacher since her 2011 graduation from Kripalu School of Yoga with her 200hr teaching certification. Since then, Melissa has been pursuing her ability to help people in their quest for health. She is currently studying holistic nutrition at Hawthorn University and aspires to integrate holistic nutrition and movement education in conjunction with the profound benefits of chiropractic care at Thrive Chiropractic. Amber, a native of St. Thomas, is the quintessential “people’s person”. With most of her professional experience revolving around customer service, satisfaction, and patient care, she possesses a real passion for helping others and making them happy. After graduating from the Charlotte Amalie High School, she attended in the University of the Virgin Islands and later enrolled in the Massac Nursing School graduating Salutatorian of her class after completing the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program. Being the daughter of a local farmer who is well known for promoting health and wellness awareness in the community, Amber is no stranger to the field and loves helping others improve their quality of life. Amber is also a very talented face and body painter who enjoys making memorable moments for others through her art. She loves spending time with her daughter and twin sons who keep her on her toes and enjoys the water, outdoors, singing and playing instruments like the piano, steel pan and violin. Tammy relocated to St. Thomas in 2016. She moved from Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Ft. Worth, Texas. She has over 30 years of Billing and Collections experience within the Healthcare arena. She brings great knowledge and experience to Thrive Chiropractic, and enjoying the positive movement towards helping others achieving benefits and wellness of chiropractic care at Thrive Chiropractic.
