, the premier historical consulting firm in the country since 1974. Alan Newell has more than 40 years of management experience historical consulting, site interpretation and project planning. In 1974, Mr. Newell founded Historical Research Associates, Inc. one of the nation’s premier private consulting firms focusing on history and archeology. Seeking to apply historical skills and analysis to a broad segment of the public, HRA has been a leader in developing new interpretive platforms and approaches to disseminating history. Alan is also a professional historian and has written and taught on various topics of the American West. He has been recognized as a leader in the field of Public History, having been president of the National Council on Public History in 200-2001 and, in 2005, receiving the Robert Kelley Memorial Award for lifetime achievement in public history. Alan brings his historical knowledge and his extensive business and project management experience to the Three21 Innovations team as its managing partner. Patrick is the UWF Public History Program Director, a Senior Historian with Historical Research Associates, Inc., and a founder of NextExitHistory™. As an educator, Moore works closely with the business history community in developing strategies for training future professionals. In addition to serving as a ASEE/NASA Fellow Kennedy Space Center where he completed an oral history-based manuscript Voices From the Cape, examples of Moore’s public history projects include interpretive studies of Florida Gulf Coast African-American and other ethnic communities; the examination of the Cuban commuters and Cuban exile population at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base; and a Hurricane Katrina impact assessment on Gulf Coast fishing communities for the NOAA. Moore is the President of the National Council on Public History (NCPH) and was the 2007 Carnegie Foundation- CASE U.S. Professor of the Year for the State of Florida. As a high tech pioneer and serial entrepreneur since his early 20s, Bob has been a key founder in three successful technology and/or service-based businesses – as well as dozens of other successful websites and businesses as a consultant/advisor. He has the unique ability to quickly understand key business challenges and develop practical technology-driven solutions. David is a project historian with Historical Research Associates, Inc., and a partner with Three21 Innovations. He is a published natural history writer with 18 years of experience with the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management in roles ranging from public comment analysis to fire management. David holds an MS in environmental studies from the University of Montana and an MAR in philosophy of religion from Yale Divinity School. His books include The Seasons of Fire: Reflections on Fire in the West (2001) and Drift Smoke: Loss and Renewal in a Land of Fire (2005), both published by the University of Nevada Press. With Three21, David has managed Next Exit History™ projects across the country, and focuses on innovative ways to leverage digital technology for interpretation and education. During her time at UWF she had the opportunity to serve as the Director of Public Relations for the 2016 National Student Advertising Competition team where she helped develop a branding campaign for Snapple. Liz also served as a member of the University’s Speech and Debate team and as a mentee in the Executive Business Mentor program. A native of beautiful Northwest Florida, Liz spends all of her free time on Pensacola beach when she’s not working. She loves to travel and truly makes it a priority in her life. Making treks from St. Augustine to Africa, Liz never misses the chance to soak up the culture, cuisine and adventure each new city offers.
