    Three Crafty Ladies was originally started in 1973 by three friends who each had their own unique craft businesses, but operated out of a shared space. Since they shared a single space, the City of Sanibel would not issue them 3 separate signs, thus in 1978, the name "Three Crafty Ladies" was born out of necessity!      Over the years, the friends went their separate ways, each being bought out by one of the other friends. The last of the Crafty Ladies ran the business until 2008, passing it on to another generation of 'Crafty Ladies'. Two years later, the second owner sold Three Crafty Ladies to the current owners, once again bringing the business back to a family of three partners!      As the new owners of Three Crafty Ladies, we have made it our goal to restore the store to its original glory. We seek to maintain a creative environment for locals and visitors alike to browse our vast inventory of unique products and gather fresh ideas. We model ourselves after an art gallery without imposing any red velvet ropes or quiet conversations. Our store is full of vibrant colors, beautiful fabrics and interesting finds that you won't see in big box stores!      Three Crafty Ladies is located in the Heart of the Island Shops on sunny Sanibel Island! Specializing in high quality tropical and batik fabrics, we also have an eclectic inventory of tropical cross stitch patterns, scrapbooking, arts and crafts supplies, Three Crafty Ladies is a proud member of the Sanibel Chamber of Commerce!
