Thread Source Inc. started in Fort Myers in 1993 with no employees and a “dream”. Having been in the Bolt and Nut business since 1984, Troy T. Vaccaro put his engineering/business degree to work. Today, Thread Source has it’s headquarters in Fort Myers and three strategic stocking warehouse locations in Florida and a full-time staff of employees servicing all of Florida. We have suppliers that will drive product to UPS at 7:00 PM in order to ship the same day so we can receive material the next day for our customers and many have told us we are the only customer that they do this for. Product Development Over the years, many of our major manufacturers have partnered with us to aid in their design and market strategy. We have been a part of many “product launches” of new items on an exclusive level in our market. Thread Source has specialized in Water Treatment Facilities, Power Plants, Co-Generation Plants, Commercial construction, Hospitals and Health Care Facilities, Agricultural Plants, large scale road, bridge and highway work. Thread Source is owned and operated by Troy Vaccaro and his family. There is no corporate red tape when you deal with us. This allows for quicker decisions and more flexibility for customers and employees. Thread Source is committed to supporting our community through many local charities. A few we support: Fund Raisers, Golf Tourneys, Candlelighters, Toys for Tots, United Way, Harry Chaplin Food Bank and Local Schools.
