He develops submittals, access plan designs and containment designs as required per project specifications. He also works with suppliers and subcontractors for contract-specific pricing and assists Project Managers with development of work plans and project production goals. Andy also serves as our Quality Systems Manager and is required to maintain and manage our Corporate Quality Control Program. This includes performing internal Quality Control Audits of the company’s office documentation along with performing project site audits to verify compliance with SSPC QP1, QP2 and QS1. He also reviews the company’s Daily Inspection Reports and Environmental Reports, performs site and office SSPC audits with auditors, and maintains the company’s QP1, QP2 and QS1 Certifications. But we don't stop there. Thomas Industrial Coatings continually updates and invests in its fleet of equipment and technologies so we can continue to be the most efficient industrial paint and coatings contractor in the industry well into the future. If there's a better way to get the job done, chances are Thomas is already performing at that level. ARS has a Super Unit - and we're fortunate to have one. It's everything a steel-grit recycler needs, plus a whole lot more. Features include a six-nozzle continuous blast system, a sloped storage bin with more than sixty barrels of abrasive storage, dual air drying systems with desiccant dryers, a six-component cleaning system and a six-stage air wash with a separate bag house. Thomas Industrial Coatings first opened its doors to our customers back in 1991 with some pretty big ideas about how we might change the industrial paint and coatings industry for the better. We wanted to create a company that provides the latest in corrosion protection and painting services, focuses heavily on safety and employee training, and earns the trust of our clients by getting the job done right every time. We're happy to say that in just over twenty years since that time, we've built a lasting reputation for being all those things and more. 1991 – Thomas Industrial Coatings was incorporated. We made approximately $2 million in sales that first year. 1996 – Thomas Industrial Coatings, Inc. moved into its newly constructed home office, officially calling Pevely, Missouri home. A Site-Specific Safety & Health Plan is developed by Project Management for each job – then communicated to each employee. Everyone on a Thomas project also has the authority to stop work in the event an unsafe behavior or condition is identified.
