Dr. Vigil is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with vast experience in treating families transitioning through separation and divorce. Over the past fifteen years, Dr. Vigil has provided thousands of hours of direct clinical services in the capacity of Parent Coordinator, Guardian Ad Litem, family therapist, and co-parenting counselor, all while addressing a variety of custodial issues. He also provides consultation services to attorneys and clients regarding divorce transition, parenting plan development, and recommendation of services which may be warranted in a particular family situation. Furthermore, Dr. Vigil is a Certified Family Mediator, who has mediated even the most highly litigious family matters, to a successful resolution. Utilizing his mental health and family systems training, Dr. Vigil provides an unbiased setting which capitalizes on the strengths and resource of each participant, as he assists the parties in reaching settlements. His philosophy focuses on empowering clients to resolve family matters in a cooperative manner, promoting accountability for one’s own actions, and providing professional guidance and structure to maximize appropriate and healthy family environments. She can provide child centered therapy and/or play therapy, for children experiencing emotional distress, behavioral issues, or situational disruptions to their daily lives. Furthermore, she has been called upon to perform evaluations and investigations for the 11th Judicial Circuit; both in criminal and family divisions. Dr. LoBuglio-Vigil is also designated as a Parent Coordinator, and has assisted adult parties in the development and compliance of parenting plans, while also educating parties about more productive co-parenting practices. When appointed to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem for a minor child, Dr. LoBuglio-Vigil utilizes her child centered therapeutic training, to address the specific needs of the child and to investigate areas of concern as designated by the court.
