THE VANGUARD ROOM LLC

The Vanguard Room Established in 1999 by Marsh and Wilbur, the studio was frequently moved between church rooms, warehouses, apartments, and various houses until 2010 when its permanent location was built in Lakeland's historic Dixieland Community. The studio has served songwriters and musicians from central Florida, around the U.S., and abroad, and also produced music for film and commercial use. The Vanguard Room's two control rooms and three live rooms were constructed with fine acoustic consideration and are stocked with vintage instruments and top-notch recording equipment. But it is the strong emphasis on songwriting, arranging, performance, and creativity that makes The Vanguard Room a special place to make music. The mission of The Vanguard Room is to create an atmosphere that will inspire musicians, not simply record them, and encourage collaboration and unity amongst artists, especially in Lakeland's local music community.
