During the initial consultation, we review your objectives and thoroughly examine the home inside and outside -- through a buyer's eyes.  We will assess the need for cleaning, de-cluttering, packing, fixing, painting, and furnishing and accessorizing in ways that enhance the home's overall appeal to a greater number of buyers.  At the end of the review and examination, we provide you with a list of recommended actions and an estimate of the investment cost.  For the do-it-yourselfer, a two or three-hour consultation may be all that is needed.    We at The Staged Nest conduct the enhancement services ourselves.  We work directly with honest and dependable contractors for cleaning, packing, fixing, and painting so we are happy to manage those needs for you if you prefer.  For smaller, very clean, well-maintained properties with little clutter, no painting or fixing required, and plenty of nice accessories and furnishings, staging can be accomplished in a few hours at an average cost of $250-$400.  It is sometimes possible to accomplish the task during the initial consultation at no additional cost.  The initial consultation will determine the depth and breadth of the entire staging process.  Every staging is different.  Generally, the cost of a full staging is a function of the size, price, and condition of the home.     If you are serious about selling your home as quickly and beneficially as possible,  stage it. We can coach you in doing the job yourself.
