The Semaphore Group, Inc. was started in 1997 after its founding President, Dr. Brian Kopp, sold his interest in a high tech start-up called Wireless Scientific Incorporated (WSI). WSI tried to sell wireless network equipment to industrial markets in the mid 1990s. It was 5 years before WiFi really hit and that was 5 years too early. The experience taught Dr. Kopp a valuable business lesson that he will share with you when you hire his firm. The Semaphore Group provides many different technical services to industries that use communication systems. These services include system design, planning, RFP development, construction related services, performance and system analysis, field surveying, troubleshooting, and product development. Our clients include Federal, State, and local government agencies, public safety agencies, and global corporations.
