He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and continued further studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville. As a young man, he always had a desire to educate others of the importance of financial planning and gaining life-long skills in that area. It was with that desire that he followed his dream of becoming a self-employed businessman. Having a wife and three children to support made the decision that much more difficult.
