The main idea behind it all was to create a site that I wished I had found many years ago when I was attempting to get into pipe smoking; a site that would provide informative content about the hobby, as well as helping me in the decision-making process for future acquisitions.  Back when I had only a few pipes and was looking to expand my collection, I searched various online webstores and was That's where my site comes in: I want The Pipe Nook to be that informative website for others just getting into pipe smoking, as well as for those who are looking to build their pipe collections from a handful of pipes into something more.  Pipe collecting can be a fun hobby, but it can also be an expensive one. My site is designed to help thin the herd of choices out there today.  I've found what I believe to be the "sweet spot" for pipes where the best possible quality meets the best possible value, and I carry only pipes from companies that I feel best exemplify that area of the market.  It's a very good place to begin your pipe smoking or pipe collecting journey.  I carry only pipe brands that I personally smoke and enjoy, from companies that I can stand behind based on my own experience as a pipe smoker.
