Debbie Young is co-founder, President and CFO of The Phoenix Agency, Inc. With twenty two years of industry experience, management and financial expertise, and a belief in giving back to the community, she has helped create a nationally recognized firm emphasizing fiscal responsibility, progressive leadership, and a strong social conscience. Steve Young is co-founder and Vice President of The Phoenix Agency, Inc. He is a Commissioning Agent (CxA), a Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) and a LEED® AP. With 30 plus years of experience, he is highly sought after for his knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing commissioning plans for a diverse variety of industries including food services, educational and healthcare institutions, and retail establishments. Judy Henry is Managing Director of The Phoenix Agency, Inc. She has 24 years of marketing and project management experience. Her responsibilities include general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, contract administration & marketing. Dave Smith is Project Manager/Administrator for the Florida Division of The Phoenix Agency. He has 20 years of experience in job estimating, and pre-engineering. This background coupled with his field experience in testing and balancing, ensures our clients they’ll receive accurate, realistic costs and scheduling for every project. is Project Manager/Administrator for the National Accounts Division of The Phoenix Agency. She has 21 years of pre-engineering experience and currently manages all scheduling, pre-engineering and report production. Vern Gray is a Field Director with The Phoenix Agency, Inc. He is both a certified Commissioning Agent (CxA) and a Certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) with 9 years of TAB experience and a degree in air conditioning technology. Vern’s responsibilities include design review, technical support; training and supervision of field personnel, and managing a variety of commissioning projects. Tom Sufka is a Field Director with The Phoenix Agency, Inc. He is both a certified Commissioning Agent (CxA) and a Certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) with 15 years of TAB experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, laboratories, and major retail chains. His responsibilities include design review, technical support; training and supervision of field personnel, and managing a variety of commissioning projects. Nineteen plus years of test and balance experience with clients ranging from major retail chains to hotels and convention centers, has established Ryan as one of The Phoenix Agency’s lead technicians. He has demonstrated expertise in the investigation and diagnosis of problems, and excellent documentation and reporting skills. Providing certified testing, balancing and commissioning services The Phoenix Agency was established in January of 1991 to offer testing, balancing and commissioning services built upon a solid professional and ethical foundation. A long-standing member of the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC), our firm maintains a highly qualified technical crew of nine which includes one LEED� AP who is also a Commissioning Agent and a Test and Balance Engineer; two additional Commissioning Agents who are also Test and Balance Engineers; and four certified Test and Balance Technicians. Certifications are through the Associated Air Balance Council and the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG). Our administrative staff provides client support, drafting, scheduling, estimating, report production and accounting expertise. The source of inspiration for our company name and logo springs from ancient mythology. Representing longevity and renewal, the Phoenix was a unique bird whose life would end and begin afresh every five hundred years. Disappearing in flames it would raise from the smoke and ash – strong, revitalized and dedicated to its role as the new standard-bearer.
