Many of you have been loyal friends and clients over the years and we've all come a long way since the boutique first opened in New York's East Village in 1993. Some remember the store's stark contrast to the grungy neighborhood where delicate French boudoir furniture, antiques and flea market finds spilled onto the sidewalk. Through repairing and restoring the treasures that had been cast aside, I discovered the joy of working with my hands as well as my head. I also found a passion for history and the magic in what can be uncovered both archaeologically and anthropologically at flea markets all over the world.
