 is an award winning poet and translator, as well as a program coordinator for the Miami Book Fair. Her passions lie in being creative, and helping others in their personal and creative endeavors. She is a captivating and powerful teacher, able to bring inspiration to whomever she meets.   The November Institute is a place where people can come and work to broaden their perspective and think clearly as they engage the realities and struggles of life, whether personal or professional. The November Institute promotes thoughtful and dynamic engagement with the realities of life.  The November Institute began as an intuition, an inkling that I had to follow. I was looking around at the field of mental-health, as well as the self-help industry, and I saw in one the application of technique to a corresponding pathology, and in the other these tiered steps that would supposedly elevate one’s life. There is some relief and benefit in both, and a lot of good work is done and people are helped. Yet, I wanted something different. I sensed there was a much bigger picture, and I believed that if I could see it with more clarity, I would be able to help others see it as well. And it struck me, that in the act of seeing  itself there was the potential for healing and growth. I am continually trying to understand the larger processes of which we, as human beings, are a part. I wanted to create a space where I could engage those questions and think through them as I helped others do the same. That is the purpose of The November Institute. It is a place where people can come and work to broaden their perspective and think clearly as they engage the realities and struggles of life. It is a place where people can explore and discover. A place where people can work to challenge themselves free from judgment. It is a place of compassion and understanding, and a place where you can be comfortable enough, to be uncomfortable enough to grow.  At The November institute we work with individuals, couples, families, business professionals, and creatives to help them operate at their highest level. We do this through counseling, leadership coaching, and educational workshops.  We are here to help people gain a clearer perspective over their lives, deepen their understanding of how they function, and create positive shifts in thinking and behavior that increase physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
