About The Mad Table Welcome to The Mad Table, a brand inspired and created to bring people together through food. My name is Patty Ruiz and I am the founder of this wonderful foodie venture. As a mom of four, wife, teacher and chef, I have been fortunate to witness how food not only brings people together, but also empowers them to do good for others. My mission is to inspire people through workshops, classes and interactive dinners. Cooking shouldn’t be scary, and once you realize this, a whole new world opens up right before your eyes. Teaching Philosophy All our classes offer practical, hands-on training. We explain and instruct and then we all work together to create a meal or a dish. We also discuss the importance of ingredients and provide creative, original ideas for food presentation. At The Mad Table, we believe in elevating the basic act of eating to an art form. The dining experience is more than just the food. Food presentation matters and memories are created when the eyes feast, too. It all sounds a little crazy, and that’s how The Mad Table was born!
