About The Learning Place Preschool Catherine Freeland is the owner/operator of The Learning Place Preschools in Boynton Beach, Florida. Catherina graduated with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, Florida. After graduating she worked as an elementary school teacher and currently has over 30 years of experience working with children. While she was working she saw that many of her students were struggling in school. She wanted to offer a program to families of the community to help children get a head start in their education. This is when her idea of opening a preschool became her passion. The Learning Place Preschool opened its doors to families of Boynton Beach, Florida is 2001. After much success, the sister school opened in 2010, also in Boynton Beach, Florida. The Learning Place Preschool strives to positively impact children to have the love of learning. We have been attending The Learning Place Preschool (Boynton Beach, Lawrence Road facility) since our daughter was 15 months, she is now 4.5.
